Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN)

Where can I find my MPRN?

Your Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN) is a unique identifying number for your gas meter. It is usually 6-10 digits long with no letters and is commonly referred to as an “M” number.
You should be able to find it on your previous gas bills but If you can’t locate your MPRN on your bill, you can call the Meter Number Helpline on 0870 608 1524 (calls cost 7p per minute plus your phone company’s access charge) or contact us and we will find it for you.

If you still struggle to find your MPRN then you can give us the numbers from your meter serial number (stamped on your actual meter) ignore any letters and add zeros if it is shorter than 6 digits. We’ll use this and your address to look up your MPRN for you once you’ve registered.

Direct Debit Date

Would you like to choose the day your regular direct debit is taken?

We will start to supply your gas 21 days from today and your first direct debit payment will be taken on your supply start date regardless of your chosen regular date.

If you select “No” then we will take your Direct Debit on the same day of your first payment in all future months.

If you choose “Yes” then you can select the date of your second and all subsequent direct debits going forward.

Please note that if your chosen payment date falls within 10 days of your first payment date then we will skip a payment so you do not make 2 payments straight after each other. However, if your chosen payment date is more than 10 days from your first payment we will take the second payment on the next available date.
